Recently the list of the 50 Best Places to Travel in 2020 was launched, where only two Mexican states (Jalisco and Baja Sur’s East Cape) were mentioned as part of this exclusive selection created by the well known publication Travel + Leisure.

Jalisco stands out for its great architectural and cultural richness, because, according to the editors of this publication, our state is capable of mixing modernity with tradition, in a location that offers excellent air and ground connectivity.

Another factor that placed Jalisco in this ranking were its destinations with unmatched natural beauty such as Puerto Vallarta, which besides offering inspiring landscapes, offers a variety of lodging options, entertainment and international gastronomy, elements that fit the traveler’s needs, who can enjoy adventure, romance, comfort and luxury experiences.

The Tourism Secretary of Mexico Germán Ralis Cumplido said “Being among the 50 sites in the world to visit in 2020 is a great achievement for Jalisco because despite the challenges we face as a country and as a state we continue working to boost our strengths and tourism is one of them. It is to make us proud that we stand out in the world for everything we offer our tourists.”
